Step by step, and chakra by chakra, you will be guided on a journey to becoming the most full, vibrant, and colorful version of YOU so that you can live the life you are meant to lead.

What is

Chakradance™ is a form of movement meditation that combines spontaneous dance, music, guided imagery, and mandala art to promote healing and balance throughout the chakra system.  The chakras are energy centers within the body that are believed to correspond to different levels of consciousness and physical functioning.

Chakradance™ takes us deep inside ourselves to gently unravel buried feelings, unresolved memories, and unconscious inherited beliefs, all of which we hold in our bodies, and in our energy centers, called the chakras.  This blocked energy becomes the tension in our bodies, the illnesses we develop, and the negative patterns we keep repeating in our lives.

Chakradance™ is designed to help you release any blockages, find balance, and ignite your creative spirit. You'll experience your own deep healing journey and discover the potent energy that lies within you for change, ascension, and expansion.  And all this is centered around expressing ourselves through the joyful, uplifting, and innate calling in all of us to go within and move, dance, heal.

No prior dance experience necessary - just bring an open mind and a willingness to let go.

An oasis for the Mind, Body & Soul, Aldermarsh Retreat Center is the perfect place to take a deep slow breath and unwind from your busy life.

Nestled on the edge of a beautiful marshland in the Maxwelton Valley at the south end of Whidbey Island, the wooded 5-acre facility is sustainably managed and includes organic gardens, outdoor Japanese soaking tub, cordwood saunamedicine wheel, outdoor fire pit, and the Marsh House for sacred gatherings. Being on this sacred land gives one an opportunity to slow down, listen attentively, and dive into what emerges.
