Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that treats the whole person - Body, Mind, and Spirit. Through gentle touch or by placing the hands slightly above the body, universal life force energy or Chi is channeled to activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
In First Degree training, students will be introduced to the general principles and history of Reiki. You also receive attunements focused on opening the energy channels on a physical level. This part of the course assists the integration of the energy and gives you the tools to become a Reiki Practitioner.
In Level II, students are given the first 3 symbols of Reiki and taught how to activate and use them. Attunements strengthen the practitioner's connection to Reiki energy and empower the symbols.
Classes are small (6 max.) and are a combination of lecture, demonstration, meditation, and practice time. Once attuned to Reiki, you will be able to use this powerful gift to balance and heal yourself, others, and animals.
